Referee announced for City cup game

Mike Dean will be the referee for Manchester City's Carabao Cup semi-final first leg against Burton Albion on Wednesday night. It'll be Dean's second City game of the season, following the 2-1 defeat to Leicester on Boxing Day. Paul Tierney will be the Video Assistant Referee.

Diaz transfer confirmed

Official: Real Madrid have announced the signing of Brahim Diaz (19) from Manchester City for an initial £15.5m. Brahim has signed a deal with Los Blancos until 2025. He will be presented at 13:30 on Monday.

Denis Suarez, who could join Arsenal this month, is in today's squad for Getafe vs. Barça. If he plays, it will be his 70th appearance, meaning Barcelona are obligated to pay Manchester City another €800,000. City have already received €4.8m in appearance bonuses (€0.8m x 6).
