Benjamin Mendy returned to training this afternoon, joining Vincent Kompany and Eliaquim Mangala back on the training pitch! All three are likely to be available for selection in a week or so.

Referee appointed for City CL game

Carlos del Cerro Grande (Spain) has been appointed referee for Schalke vs. Manchester City on Wednesday in the Champions League. It will be the 42-year-old's second City game after he was in charge of the 3-0 away win over Shakhtar last October.
