Journalist on Guardiola system

Raphael Honigstein on City: “They have a system that brings out the best of these players… How many times do we see tap-ins being scored? A lot of these goals from Aguero are from about 3 or 4 metres from the goal but of course it’s getting there that is the real magic…”

Raphael Honigstein: “That is a function of Guardiola’s coaching and of finding ways of to create the best possible scoring opportunities, with the kind of regularity that no other team, perhaps in Europe, can come up with.”

Raphael Honigstein: “Yes they got a bit lucky, yes they’ve had one or two wobbles in games and the Watford game could have perhaps developed differently… But if you look over the 90 minutes, they never look like not winning. That is I think a bit frightening for Liverpool.”
