New update on City transfer plans

Both Manchester clubs have joined the queue of clubs interested in James Maddison. Although impressed with him, City don’t intend to sign an attacking midfielder with David Silva expected to stay and Phil Foden set to be given more playing time next season. [via ]

Man City do not expect Leroy Sane to demand a move to Bayern Munich this summer. City are not convinced the winger has a burning desire to leave the Etihad – and remain hopeful he will end the uncertainty over his future by signing a long-term deal. [via ]

Even if Sane does go this summer, Pep Guardiola has no intention of bringing in a replacement. The Catalan is confident he has enough strength in depth in the form of Raheem Sterling, Bernardo Silva and Riyad Mahrez to avoid the need to sign a replacement. [via ]
